The seven archetypes is a theory in which there are several ways of story-telling namely Search, Voyage and Return, Rebirth, Comedy, Defeating the Huge, Rags to Riches and Tragedy. The Tragedy archetype is one of the several archetypes used in story-telling pointed out by Captain christopher Booker inside the Seven Fundamental Plots. This kind of archetype is known to expect a specific reaction from the readers frequently using suffering, destruction and death. While the archetype manifests itself through period, there are many techniques authors have interpreted the archetype through their stories. An element inside the archetype that may be carefully observed is the notion of Vitality where the primary character eventually comprehends their very own misinterpretation on the planet and their blunders which acquired caused their destruction, typically hubris.
