As you may know, Austen Pharmaceuticals corrected the issue of having less diversity within our workplace by hiring several new workers, many getting women and hispanics. With these new hires, the company instructed the section managers to reduce our staff payroll by 15%, leading to quite an moral dilemma. Following much thought and consideration, I think that have identified a solution that suits the needs from the company, our department, plus the employees. I currently have 50 personnel who directly report to me. It is my suggestion to cut the hours of all 60 employees by 6 hours a week and eliminate any kind of overtime. Simply by implementing your plan, our office can efficiently meet the company's requirements to cut payroll simply by 15%, and give employees an excellent incentive to leave work early or sleep in a little bit each day.
